Autonomy

Curriculum design and assessments are discussed and decided in Medical Syndicate.  Student admission is done by Ministry of Education. Faculty recruitment and selection is carried out by Ministry of Health and other staff selection is done by the University of Medicine, Taunggyi.

Our university has autonomy to make decisions about research but there is partial autonomy in resource allocation for implementation of curriculum.
